Nestled on nearly 40 acres in central Texas, Moose Creek is a retriever's paradise. A USF&WS wetlands project serves as the centerpiece of the property and is a valuable asset to our training. Our parcel includes many rolling hills, pastures and terrains, as well as a seasonal creek and puppy pond. We also have access to an adjacent SCS lake and some serveral hundred acres of lease property. The training opportunities are endless.
Moose Creek Retrievers is located just 15 miles northeast of Waco in the heart of the Central Flyway. We are easy to find and less than two hours from Dallas or Austin.
Our Horst kennels are completely covered from the elements and include high capacity ventilation fans over each run. All runs are seperated by a stainless steel sani-track to eliminate cross contamination, while a self-contained septic system and spacious airing yard insure a healthy environment. Additionally, the kennels are washed and sanitized daily. Our facilities are completely lighted and fenced to provide added security.
We also have a 1,500 SF fully enclosed, insulated metal building that allows for indoor obedience training during adverse weather.
Having the proper training equipment is essential for success. At Moose Creek we rely heavily on our field gear. From the Bumper Boy remote launchers and the Zinger Wingers (equipped with Dogtra electronics)--to the Tri-tronics e-collars, our equipment gets a tough daily workout. We show no mercy so only the best will do.
