The Moose Creek training program is different than most--as we accept a maximum of 3 client dogs at any given time. This insures our undivided attention is devoted to your retriever's overall success.
Our training program is designed to produce exceptional hunt test/gun dogs with a strong willingness to please. Our standard training program is $450 per month, which includes boarding at our facility, monthly heartworm preventative, and all training birds.
We typically have a waiting list, so we encourage early confirmation.

In addition to our monthly training program, we also offer "private lessons" to address specific issues. Our specialty is the first time, do-it-yourselfer that has the desire to train his or her own retriever but needs a little help along the way. We can schedule personalized training sessions on an 'as need' basis to suit the client. Private lessons are $40 per hour.
Larry Brem started training herding dogs in the late 1980's while attending Tarleton State University. His passion for dog training continued to grow and his interest shifted to competative retrievers.
Ensuing the teachings of Retriever Hall of Fame member Mike Lardy and former field trial trainer Evan Graham, Larry now trains hunt test and personal gun dogs on a semi-pro basis. Although training is not his career occupation, his commitment to excellence does not falter. He trains an average of 6 days per week and actively participates in AKC and UKC/HRC Hunting Tests. Larry is also a proud member of the Professional Retriever Trainers Association.
